33.  Northern Neck News Obituary, Friday, October 9, 1931, Death of Mr. S. B. Cook--Mr. Brooks Cook died on Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley R. Morris, of Potomac Mills.  Mr. Cook had been in failing health the entire summer, but three weeks ago he was taken with a stroke of paralysis and remained ill until his death.  He was 82 years of age.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. B.V. Madison at Popes Creek on Monday afternoon and interment took place in the church cemetery.

168.  Obituary - Free Lance Star, Miss Zola E. Cooke, 59, of Goby, died Monday at Mary Washington Hospital. A native of King George, she was postmaster at the Goby Post Office for more that 20 years.  She was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Virginia P. Cooke and was a life-long member of Potomac Baptist Church, King George. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Viola Burchell of Goby, and twobrothers, Edward Cooke of Fredericksburg and Lester Cooke of Goby. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Potomac Baptist Church.  The Rev. George T. Herring and the Rev. John A. Morgan will officiate.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. The body is at the Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home.
